Happy patient story for a Friday: we evaluated a patient last week for abdominal bloating, difficulty pooping, migraine headaches and narcolepsy. She has a significant head trauma history. We worked on: her gut, diaphragm, sacrum, vagus nerve and cranium. She happily reported at her second session that her bloating has started to decrease (with obvious weight loss) and her pooping is better. Why would this be? Because of that all important (but does not have a good PR agent so most people have no idea how important it is) vagus nerve. The vagus nerve, when smooshed, will decrease GI function and cause all kinds of problems including headaches and bloating….
